These Cast Iron skillet pans have a smooth finish to help provide even heat distribution for improved cooking and frying from stoves to induction cooktops. These frying pans have a low maintenance requirement as they are preseason, but we would recommend you season before each use to maintain the non-stick approach. As they are Cast iron should be hand washed with warm water and restored with natural oils that mean no soap or dishwasher use. These frying pans are a great size being 8inches it gives you plenty of room in your frying pan to allow for a range of meals to be prepared and cooked in your frying pan. Naturally, the pans are non-stick patina finish will last a lifetime and it is oven safe to any temperature however we would recommend that you rinse with warm water and use a brush or scraper to remove stuck-on bits and for stuck-on food, scrub with salt and oil, rinse, and wipe clean. Once clean we would recommend drying the pan and coat a thin layer of oil. Then the pan is ready to be stored until ready to use again.
